Virgin Islands calling with owner version SAONA 47 sailing catamaran at the ready!
You can now charter a very special; Quite a Catch Saona 47 owner in the East Caribbean:
With one vast master suite taking the whole hull, cabins fans, 2x additional doubles and a small single, air condition everywhere and 4x solar panels with supporting generator, a fully independent, bareboat sailing holidays in the Virgin Islands can be announced once again. Graced with swaying palms, shallow waters and numerous powder-like, white sandy beaches, the cruising grounds here have not changed. What's change is less crowds and more choice; so much so that a multihull such as this one, becomes affordable for many who never before dreamt about enjoying such a luxury on a bareboat yachting holidays.
Launched in 2018, this owner version is indeed Quite a Catch. Designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design and finished with in-house designers at Fountain Pajot with a sweet and very functional interior by Isabelle Racoupeau, the SAONA is a very prestigious sailing catamaran with a distinguished performance, looks and value. One of the best feelings on board of a sailing boat is when the interior feels light and airy. Nothing beats SAONA 47 on this as large wraparound windows in the salon, in addition to longish overhead skylights and aft sliding door panels create a very open and airy area. This will be liked by everyone, the owner, skipper, wife and guests alike.
Equally impressive is space on deck and ease with which one can walk around from bow to transom. With improved sailing performance and lots of headroom, this makes her a comfortable and very seaworthy sailing catamaran and great value charter yacht. Add to this shallow draft which fits perfectly when sailing in the East Caribbean in particular and one can in fact say, you have a perfect sailboat here. The 9m2+ lounge deck with a hydraulic swim platform are the creame on top of everything as, lets face it, most of the crews and owners will want to spend a lot of time at anchor, swimming, dining and sipping cocktails, rather than sailing all day. This all makes the owner version SAONA 47 ''QUITE A CATCH'' and this model is exactly that.
So let's start island hopping across Sir Francis Drake Channel, starting with Little Sisters and going further around the main island with stopovers at Virgin Gorda's boulders or even Anegada for a rendez-vous spear fishing experience. If you require a skipper or even a hostess or a chef, these can be easily arranged. The same applies for an optional pick up at Trellis Bay, just near the airport, which would allow you to set sailing as soon as you set foot on the Virgin islands.
