Sail into the Aeolian in Southern Italy with Jeanneaus' Sun Odyssey 410 Performance:

Voted "Cruising Yacht of the Year" by British Yachting Awards, “Best Midsize Cruiser Over 38 Feet.” by Cruising World, "Best sailing Yacht in Asia" by Christofle Yacht Style Awards and "Voilier de l'année" by Voiles Mag, all in 2019, the new Sun Odyssey 410 Performance by Jeanneau is truly a rare to find charter yacht. The innovations and unique solutions mainly apply or are mainly visible on the outside decks of this 8th generation 40ft Jeanneau. The side-decks are without any obstacles and wave-piercing bow, which is coupled with a hard chine all the way across the waterlength, all contribute towards a very stable sailboat. In fact she was reported to be producing excellent sailing performance in all ranges of wind, while ensuring great stability with little healing.
Accommodating up to 8 persons in 3 cabins with 2 salon berths, the ''SONG IS YOU'' as the boat is called, also features 2 heads. Those additional innovations also apply to the interior which comes with unique layout that maximises the space down below. In terms of sailing, lower boom and extended mast make for a huge mainsail surface which enables the boat to sail extremely well. By boarding early afternoon, you are guaranteed to reach first of Aeolian islands before nightfall for sure, regardless of the wind direction in the South Thyrrenian seas. Twin-rudder arrangement also contributes to this with weight being centred to add further to the stability.
During your charter in the Southern Italy, apart from the historic clifftop centre of the small town of Tropea, its beaches and famous 12th-century Cathedral, as well as other parts of Calabria, you are likely to visit all of the Aeolian islands. On a longer-term charter, which should last at least a fortnight, but ideally 1-month, you will also access remote islands such as Alicudi and Fillicudi and under circumstances isolated Isola Ustica too. Should it be necessary, we can also provide a detailed itinerary suggestion or an alternative yacht that may include a professional skipper or even a chef and a stewardess. Luxury yachts such as fully equipped NEW Dufour 530, an Oyster 625 or even CNB 76 are available in the area and on request. A number of luxury crewed sailing catamarans are permanently based in Sicily or around Aeolian islands too.
