Istria, the largest peninsula on the Adriatic located almost in the far north of the Adriatic Sea. Due to its position it provides many opportunities for sailors. Every historic town on the Istrian coast of the Adriatic Sea has a well-equipped marina and a docks. The largest city in Istria, Pula, is located on the very south of the peninsula. The city has famous history and great Roman legacy (Golden Gate, Amphitheater...).
Pula also has its own airport which is just 15km away from the city center and only 10km to one of the 3 major marinas Pula. If you sail to the north from Pula there are many nauticly developed small towns, (Rovinj, Poreč, Umag) and the vicinity of Venice (Italy) offers numerous routes. If you decide to go south, then there are beautiful Kvarner islands (Mali Lošinj, Cres, Rab, Susak).
